Online Dating

If you were lucky to find a special person to share your life without using online dating, I am so jealous.

I have been told that online dating is my best chance at finding a guy. I am hoping that is not the case. If I that is true, here are my conclusions:
-I have not received a match from eharmony in almost 2 months. I even changed my criteria to the whole US. Does that mean that there is no one who is compatible with me in the entire US? I am hoping that is not true!
-Most guys I talk to online think that pre-marital sex is just fine has long as you aren't sleeping around.
-Guys are eager to meet after 30 minutes of chatting and then not so eager after I suggest a little more time. I wonder what they really want from online dating.
-Only good Christian dating site requires a 6 month commitment.
-Multiple people tell me that in Lancaster, good Christian guys get married by the age of 25. Does that mean that I start dating 23 year olds or move to a place where they don't get married young?

I think I am done with online dating. There is a small chance that I will join Equally Yoked. I just need to stop listening to my non-Christian friends that tell me that I need to lower my standards if I expect to find a man. Start trusting that my God has a plan for me that is better than anything I could dream of! He is has never failed me in any other area of my life. Why do I have such a hard time believing that God has a plan for my love life?

Jeremiah 29:11
"For I know the plans I have for you" this is the Lord's declaration "plans for your welfare, not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope,"

Epic Fail

I started May with some things that I was working on.
-exercising 3-5 times a week
-eating under my 1,600 calorie limit
-reading in the Word everyday
-finishing the Real Marriage book
-losing 5 pounds
-eat out 0-5 times

Well I failed in all these categories. I did get better in a couple of these!
-Only lost 1 pound in May
-Read 2 chapters in Real Marriage (will I ever finish this book?)
-Was way better at counting my calories but it is hard to do sometimes with my work schedule.

June is a new month! I am going to be joining a friend's biggest loser competition this week. About mid-June, I am going to try the Paleo diet for 30 days and then decide if I want to continue that. The paleo diet means that I will not be eating grains, dairy, or anything processed. It is going to be tough but it is a healthy way to get back on track! I am going to a Harvest small group for the first time! I am super pumped about that. Funny how much you miss small group when you don't have the ability to go.

I still have alot of the same goals for the month of June.
-exercise 3-5 a week
-lose 5-10 pounds
-finish the Real Marriage book
-Get in the Word everyday!
-Eating out only 0-5 times this month

BTW, I know I promised I would give a monthly update of how my size 10 jeans fit. I am afraid that it will get stuck on my leg and never get it off. Hopefully there will be an update next month. In case you you were wondering, I am currently a size 14 or 16 in jeans. I am hoping that the size 10 jeans will fit in Dec!!

Here is amazing June!!
